Tropical-Marine Science Center and Tropical-Marine
Conservation Institute, Inc. are organized for scientific and educational
purposes. Specifically, to promote conservational appreciation of tropical
and marine environments to inland areas; and to educate individuals on how
this delicate and diverse ecosystem affects their everyday lives.
These objectives will be accomplished using two
distinct methods; Community Outreach Educational Programs and our Public Aquarium
and Tropical Environment Center.
Educational Programs
Tropical-Marine Science
Center and Tropical-Marine Conservation Institute bring the tropics and
ocean to the desert of southwestern Idaho (Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Nampa,
Caldwell and Kuna areas) through interactive educational programs for
schools, scout groups, private parties, corporate events or other
gatherings. Programs are tailored to the age group, interests and
background of the participants.

The Aquarium and Tropical Environment Center
The world-class facility
being created by Tropical-Marine will be located central to the Ada and Canyon
county areas of southwestern Idaho. The center will be a completely enclosed
tropical environment that will include a one million gallon aquarium, tropical
rainforest, theater style presentation room, youth discovery center and multiple
classrooms for training and education. Rather than passive observation, our
visitors and students will have the opportunity to interact with displays and
exhibits to enhance the learning experience.
