Carried by the Wind (avian)
Birds are remarkable for their long life, intelligence, unsurpassed beauty
and for some species, their absolute devotion to certain humans.
Tragically, many birds are nearing extinction and need to be protected.
This presentation will focus on the characteristics of different species,
habitats, and how they react to humans. Exotic birds will be displayed
with information on our Bird Rescue/Adoption program and the
responsibilities of owning a pet bird.

Marine Life (aquatic life in all
forms)
With more than 70% of the earth's surface covered by salt water, the need
for conservation of our oceans, and the life it supports, is critical.
This presentation helps students explore the undersea world with the help
of
live and
interactive props.
During the presentation we discuss different habitats and introduce the
animals that live in them. To enhance the educational experience live marine animals will be on display.

Rain Forest (tropical vegetation)
Tropical rainforests cover less
than 7% of the Earth's surface, yet it is estimated they are home to more
than half of all existing plant and animal species. A wide variety of
items that come from the rainforest or contain rainforest ingredients will
be shown. This presentation will focus on the threats currently facing
this delicate ecosystem and the relationship between plants and humans.

Terrestrial Life (insect,
amphibian and reptile)
Often feared and misunderstood, insects, amphibians and reptiles provide
vital services to all ecosystems. This program features live animals as
well as educational props to highlight interesting adaptations, lifestyles
and habits of these creatures. Students will have the opportunity to
inspect many of these animals "up close and personal" during this
informative program and come away with a better knowledge and appreciation
of the various species and the conservation programs that are in place to
protect them.
